2022 NDT/NST (NIET) Joint Award – three way tie!

The National Debate Tournament (NDT) and American Forensic Association National Speech Tournament (formerly the National Individual Events Tournament) Joint Award honors the college or university whose students perform best in the two national tournaments conducted each year by committees of the American Forensic Association.
For the second time since the creation of the award, we have a three way tie for first, between George Mason University Debate Team & Speech Teams, Minnesota Debate & Speech Teams, and University of Texas-Austin Speech & Debate Teams.

Thank you to these three programs and many others who demonstrate their college or university’s commitment to excellence in a broad range of forensic activities for their students.
